Boeing 777X makes her first appearance in the little red dot

At 2329hrs (US time) on 5th February 2022, N779XW took off from Moses Lake for a 16:42hrs flight to the Little Red Dot.

At 0810hrs (SG time), she made her appearance to the many aviation enthusiasts waiting for her. Donning the signature Boeing colors, she made her graceful approach for Singapore Changi Airport Runway 02L. Her arrival into Singapore was for the upcoming Singapore Airshow 2022 which will run from 15 to 18 February.
The Boeing 777X is slated to start revenue service with launch customer, Lufthansa in the year 2024. Singapore Airlines, which has 20 orders for the aircraft, will see delivery of the Boeing 777X in 2024-2025.
The 777X features the new General Electric GE9X engines, new composite wings with folding wingtips, greater cabin width and seating capacity, and technologies from one of Boeing's best selling aircraft, the Boeing 787.

The 777X was launched in November 2013 with two variants: the 777-8 and the 777-9. The 777-8 provides seating for 384 passengers and has a range of 8,730 nmi (16,170 km) while the 777-9 has seating for 426 passengers and a range of over 7,285 nmi (13,500 km).
